Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service, that uses an messaging, SMS or a web based interface. It has become more and more popualr with the increasing uptake of social networking sites, and takes facebooks status updates a step further. It allows users to ‘follow’ each other as well as be followed, and when you follow somebody you twitter homepage shows all their movements. The trouble is if you follow alot of people, or people who twitter on alot about all kinds of rubbish, you twitter list becomes long and easy to miss the odd interesting twitter from those that you follow who only update eveyr day or so.
