Parkour comes to school curriculum

I’ve just read that the art of street running, as seen on BBC adverts and the opening scenes of Casino Royale, is being added to the PE choices of some London schools alongside more traditional options like netball and football. I’m jealous, I’ve always wanted to learn, and have even tried the odd bit of parkour whilst out and about, usually after a fair few pints…. And with no injuries! Hopefully Channel 4 will repeat the awesome documentary from a few years back called ‘Jump Britain’ which featured some of the early pioneers of free jumping as it’s also known, such as Jerome Ben Aoues.
